Woody Eugene Keating, 62, of Mt. Enterprise, Texas passed away on January 15, 2020 in Mt. Enterprise, Texas. Born August, 8, 1957, in Houston, Texas, Woody is the son of the late Harold Clifton and Mona Berline (Smith) Keating. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00PM at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Mt. Enterprise, Texas, with Bro. Darrel Owens and Bro. Bryan Sellers officiating. Interment will follow at County Line Cemetery, FM 1971N, Timpson, Texas.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday, January 18, 2020 beginning at 1PM at Landmark Baptist Church, Mt.Enterprise, Texas.
Woody grew up in the Caledonia community. He attended Gary ISD and graduated from Mt. Enterprise High School. He married the love of his life, Pip Casey, on February 17, 1978. They raised three wonderful children, Dustin, Kristen, and Ashley. The two made lots of memories over the last 41 years. Woody was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. His precious time spent with his wife, children, and especially his grandchildren will be cherished forever. Woody was an avid fisherman. One of his favorite fishing spots was those found on Toledo Bend. He also enjoyed time spent on the beach. Woody loved the Lord and served through his church in many capacities. He was a member of Landmark Baptist Church for over 35 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pip Keating; son, Dustin Eugene Keating and wife Lacey; daughters, Kristen Nicole Innerarity, Ashley Lauren Lee and husband Jerry Lynn Lee Jr.; grandchildren, Dustin Lane Keating, Jackson Jay Arthur, Jace Ryan Keating, Wyatt Evan Lee, Lizzie Grace Lee, Madison Grace Innerarity, Mallory Lauren Innerarity; and a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly.
Woody is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Clifton and Mona Berline Keating; brother, Clifton Keating; and sister, Betty Cole.
Pallbearers serving will be Tad Titlow, Rut Desselle, Terrell Jones, Tim Johnson, Bubba Casey, Kenneth Wilson, Ray Dees, and Kyle Keeling.
Honorary pallbearers are Jackie Risinger, David Holmes, Charlie Kasprowicz, and Rodney McCoy.
