Shannon Curtis Parks

Shannon Curtis Parks, 43, of Lufkin, Texas passed away on January 18, 2020 in Lufkin, Texas. Born May 7, 1976, in Houston, Texas, Shannon is the son of Curtis Parks and Juanita Flotte. Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 2:00PM – 4:00PM at the Community Building in SoSo Park, Timpson, Texas.

Shannon was a 1995 graduate from Timpson High School. He was a hard working man to provide for his three children. Shannon took pride in caring for his family. He was a loving father. His most precious time was that spent with his children, along with spending time with his family. Shannon enjoyed watching movies, playing video games, and working. He also had a passion for music. Some would find him just singing, and although you might find it funny, this is something he liked to do.

He is survived by his daughters, Rebekah Parks, Alyssa Parks, Lana Parks; mother of his children, Marie Jackson; father, Curtis Allen Parks; brother, Allen Curtis Parks; sisters, Misty Diaz, Priscilla Sparks and husband Johnny; cousins, Michelle Cartwright and Christopher, Amber Parks, Ashton Harris; nephew, Kyle; nieces, Alexus, Aurora; and a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Allen Curtis Parks and Joy Eldredge Parks.
