Shanna Lynn Stilley, 55, of Timpson, Texas, was called to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 18, 2018 after passing away peacefully in her home. She was born in Lufkin, Texas, on January 17, 1963 to Bobby and Sarah Stilley. We will rejoice in Shanna's life as a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and servant of God on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Taylor Funeral Home, 511 Ross Graves Dr., Timpson, Texas. Visitation will begin at 10AM with the service to follow at 11AM with Bro. Hollis Bass officiating.
Growing up Shanna was a lively and adventurous child. She loved being around people and made many friends that would describe her as "the life of the party". Shanna graduated in 1981 from McCullough High School in The Woodlands, Texas where she marched and played the clarinet in the Highlander band; one of her fondest memories. Shanna also attended Sam Houston State University where she studied criminology. Ultimately, Shanna's love for dolls and collectibles led her to open a store, Babes & Bears, in Houston, Texas. She loved her customers and was an excellent salesperson. Shanna later went on to work for many national companies, winning awards for top sales each year. Shanna was very creative and enjoyed interior design, decorating, and crafting. She loved to celebrate holidays and spend time with her family. She lived for her two daughters and granddaughters. Her loved ones will remember Shanna for her infectious laugh and sweet spirit.
Shanna is survived by her parents, Bobby and Sarah Stilley of Timpson, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Veronica Stilley of College Station, Texas; daughters, Makenzie Stilley of Timpson, Texas, Lauren Najari and husband Anthony of Las Vegas, Nevada; granddaughters, Ava and Charlotte Najari; niece and nephew, Cara and Braden Stilley of Willis, Texas. She will also be greatly missed by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends.
