Rebecca (Becky) Hardin received her ultimate healing and entered into her eternal home on December 25, 2023, at her home in Timpson TX. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 3:00 PM at First Assembly of God in Timpson, TX with Rev. E.J. Adams officiating. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Bethel cemetery in Gary, TX.
Becky was born to parents Johnny Dee and Cacilie Busalt Adams on June 11, 1956, in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Becky was a long-time resident of Timpson, TX, moving from Stonewall, LA where she attended and graduated from Stonewall High School. She then met the love of her life Mike Hardin and they were married January 24, 1981 after Mike swept her off her feet. Her cruise taken with Mike was one of her most cherished memories. Cruises, shopping, and swimming were at the top of her list for excitement and happiness. Other things Becky loved to do were playing bingo, dominoes, and cards. In her younger years she was dedicated to her bowling leagues where she bowled weekly. Becky enjoyed her 20 years of employment at Walmart especially her most recent position as a sales associate in the Vision Center aiding customers in their selection of eyewear. Most of all her faith in God never wavered and she served where and when possible, she will forever be remembered for her faithfulness to God.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her mother, Cacilie Adams of Timpson, TX, brother James Adams and wife, Kathy of Apopka, FL, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins many of whom reside in Germany.
Becky is preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Mike Hardin, her father Johnny Dee Adams and her brother Johnny Dee Adams, Jr.
