Morgan grew up in Blair community in Timpson, where he was surrounded by a magnitude of loving friends and family. He attended Timpson ISD from kindergarten up until 12th grade where he graduated with the senior class of 2007.
He never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with a smile and a big heart. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his children, whether it be throwing the baseball, spending the day fishing, or floating the river. He found comfort around his friends and family, and always found a way to the domino table or to the washer boards. Singing with good friends was always a special time that he cherished so immensely. Visiting with friends and family at various gatherings was a major part of who he was, as time spent with others for him was time well spent.
His favorite bible scripture was Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This scripture has grown with him from his childhood while he attended various churches with family and friends.
