Melba Jean Martin

Graveside services for Melba Jean Martin, 60, of Nacogdoches, will be held at 2:30PM, Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Tennessee Cemetery in Timpson, Tx with Bro. John Wahl officiating.

Mrs. Martin passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018, in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was born on July 1, 1957, in Henderson, Texas.

Jeanne spent her childhood in Timpson where she attended school and graduated from Timpson High School. She married Ronald J. Martin on March 12, 1994, they spent a wonderful life together raising their daughter Regan. She took great pride and joy in being a mother. Jeanne was always taking care of her family and her home. You could always catch her outside in her flower beds or playing with her cats and dogs. She loved camping and was ready at moments notice if someone mentioned going. Jeanne loved spoiling her two grandchildren Ashton and Evan. She was a member of the Calvary Temple Church in Mt. Enterprise.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald Martin; father, Bill Horton; daughter, Regan Center; brothers, Mike Horton, C.B. McDonald, and Jessie McDonald; grandchildren, Ashton Center and Evan Center.

She is preceded in death by her mom, Bobbie Wright.
