Graveside service for Mrs. Marian M. Gentry, 85, of Timpson, TX, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 7, 2014, in Corinth Cemetery, Timpson, with Bro. Justin Coburn officiating. Mrs. Gentry passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, in Center, TX.

Born January 28, 1929, in Shelby County, TX, Marian Mims Gentry was the daughter of the late John Mims, Sr. and Mary Cozart Mims. She was a member of Timpson Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son James Ray Gentry; sister Lorene McEntire of Timpson; 2 grandchildren, Beth Sanchez and husband Jose of California and Cheryl Gentry and Thomas Martin of Wylie, TX; 8 great grandchildren: Jacob Cameron Sanchez, Gabrielle Elisha Sanchez, Salvador Angel Sanchez, Rickey Pilar Sanchez, Michelle Bryant, Eddie Martin, Brianna Martin, and Sean Martin; 2 great great grandchildren: La'Kai and La'Kayla Daniel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Marian Gentry was preceded in death by husband Hubert Gentry,

3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
