Linda Milford Askins, 74, of Timpson, Texas passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. Born November 22, 1943, in Houston, Texas to the late Arthur and Emma (Ramsey) Milford.
Linda was born in Houston, Texas, on November 22, 1943, moved to Timpson in the Shady Grove Community and attended Timpson ISD until 1960. She later earned her GED at Kilgore College. During many adult years spent in Longview, she used her nurturing nature to be a caregiver for numerous people. She and her clients traveled extensively throughout the United States.
Linda lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting and visiting with friends, spending time with family, cooking, and indulging in her passion for collecting many things, including jewelry, angels, glassware, and attending her church, Good Hope Baptist Church.
Linda is survived by her husband, Charles Askins; children, Marty Hudson, Tammy Hudson Marlowe, Jeff Hudson; grandchildren, Morgan Hudson, Paige Hudson, Gunnar Hudson, Gavin Hudson, Chris Herrin, David Williams Jr., Douglas Williams, Ciara Brannon and husband Jackson, Blake Hudson and wife Handa; great grandchildren, Harley Herrin, Coy Hudson, Cason Johnson, Trip Herrin, Cody Cash Herrin, Raelynn Nutter; brother in law, Ken Ramsey; and a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Emma Milford; sister, Judy Ramsey; brother, James Harold Milford and wife Jean; and grandson, Cody Herrin.
