Landon Wayne Parks

Landon Wayne Parks, “LanLan”, 12, of Timpson, Texas, passed away on May 30, 2022, in Center, Texas. He was born on September 8, 2009, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Daniel and Erica Parks. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Taylor Funeral Home, Timpson, Texas, officiated by Bro. Dee Daniels and Bro. Charleston Johnson.  Interment will follow at Folsom Chapel Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, June 3, 2022, at Taylor Funeral Home in Timpson, Texas.

Landon touched the lives of every person he met in amazing ways.  He was truly an amazing and strong warrior.  No matter what obstacles came his way, he never let them get him down or stop him.  Nothing could dim the light that shown so brightly from his beautiful and loving soul.

Though Landon has gone to his Heavenly home, his love for all his family and friends remains strong with them Always!

Beloved son of Mom and Dad, Erica and Daniel Parks and most amazing Big Brother to his sisters and brother, Kirstie, Ellie, and Trevor.

He will be missed by all who knew him, especially his grandparents, Barbara and Harold Elliott, Debra Parks, Cecil Parks, Hollis and Rebecca Thomas, Dion and Shay Schoening; great-grandmother, Patricia McCoy; aunts and uncles, Dewayne and Jessie Thomas, Brandon and Sheree Thomas, Daniel and Hannah Thomas, David Parks, Mianna Adair, Chloe Thomas, Brittney Thomas, Travis and Samantha Elliott, and Brian Elliott; and a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Landon was greeted in Heaven by his Nanny, Earnestine Parks; Papa and Meme, Charles and Flavia Langley; cousin, Chesney Adair; uncle, Preston Elliott; cousin, Trenton Parks; cousin, Sheana Whitmarsh; and great-grandpa, Howard McCoy.

Pallbearers include Dewayne Thomas, Brandon Thomas, Daniel Thomas, David Parks, Chase Lee, and Casey Adair.
