Funeral service for John Cohron Bush, Jr., 70, of Clayton, TX, will be held at 10:00 AM,
Monday, April 28, 2014, in Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, Timpson, with Rev. Dock Lazarine officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Cemetery, Timpson. Visitation for family and friends will be 3:00 - 5:00 PM, Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Taylor Funeral Home. Mr. Bush passed away Friday, April 25, 2014, in Longview, TX.
Born January 29, 1944, in Orange, TX, John C. Bush, Jr. was the son of the late John C. Bush, Sr. and Lura Doris Heaton Bush. He graduated from Timpson High School in 1962 and after graduation from Panola College, he attended Stephen F. Austin State University. He was a salesman for many years and then enjoyed farming and ranching. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Clayton, Timpson Masonic Lodge 437, and was also a shriner.
Survivors include wife Angela Davis Bush of Clayton; sons: Todd Bush and wife Cindy of Timpson, Tim Bush and wife Janelle of Timpson, Trevin Bush and wife Janice of Cadiz, Kentucky, and Sean Bush and wife Sondra of Timpson; daughters: Leslie Wood and husband Matt of Spring Hill, Tennessee, and Ashley Hall and husband Rick of Austin, TX; brother, Tommy Bush and wife Annette of Gary, TX; sisters: Beth Tipton and husband Harvey and Sandra Brownlow and husband Keith, all of Timpson; 18 grandchildren: Katie, Tyler, and Maggie Bush, Timothy and Shelby Bush, Whitney Yother and husband Eric, Paige, Trent, Caleb, and Abby Bush, Cameron, Wil, Kyle, Celine, and Celeste Bush, Madison and Eric Wood, and Hudson Hall; and great grandchildren Candyce and Cadyence Yother.
