Edward Lynn Tyer

Edward Lynn Tyer, 82, of Spring, Texas, passed away on December 12, 2021, in Spring, Texas. He was born on October 24, 1939, in Timpson, Texas, to the late Eugene Debbs and Lottie Estelle (Rhodes) Tyer. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Taylor Funeral Home, Timpson, Texas. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson, Tx.

Edward was a dedicated man who worked for the same company for over 40 years.  He worked loyally for Century-Diamonds as their CPA for many years and was rewarded by an easy retired life.  Edward loved to play golf and even built golf clubs for a time.  He also had the patience to build clocks and make stained glass artworks. Edward was a man of many talents.  He had a love for cars and motorcycles as well.  Edward was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Edward is survived by his sons, Greg Tyer and wife, Henrietta, and Gary Tyer and wife, Sarah; stepsons, Craig Spencer and wife, Loris, and Eric Spencer and wife, Arlene; sister, Janice Epperson; grandchildren, Kyle Delk, Johnny Lamb, Alexas Lamb, Dylan Tyer, Destiny Galaviz, Venessa Galaviz, Guadalupe Galaviz, and Noelle Spencer; and 5 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene, and Lottie (Rhodes) Tyer; his wife, Judy Lynn Tyer; and sister, Paula Jean Philen.
