Bobbie Brinson Obituary
Mrs. Bobbie Anderson Brinson, 83, of Timpson, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014, in Nacogdoches, TX. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 16, 2014, in Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, Timpson, with Rev. Elmer Mathews and Rev. George Grace officiating. Visitation will begin at 6:30 PM preceding the service.
Born September 3, 1931, in Rusk County, Texas, Bobbie Lou Anderson Brinson was the daughter of the late Jewell Bernice and Maud (Childs) Anderson. After graduating from Mt. Enterprise High School, Bobbie attended Lon Morris Junior College. In 1954 in Gary, TX, she married the late John Thomas Brinson. Bobbie spent the remainder of her life as a wife, mother, grandmother, and poultry farm operator.
Surviving Bobbie are her son Frank Brinson of Timpson; daughters, Pam Franklin and husband Larry of Timpson and Cynthia Brinson and partner Carol Brinson of Timpson; brother C. E. "Sonny" Anderson and wife Janice of Longview; sisters, Nell Seelbach of Nacogdoches, Glenda Golemon and husband Dan of Dallas; Marjory Gregory of Arlington, TX, and Ann Davis and husband Bob of Long Branch, TX; granddaughter L'erin Brinson and great grandchildren, Colton Miles Carr and John Tristan Franklin.
Bobbie Anderson was preceded in death by her parents Jewell and Maud Anderson, husband John Thomas Brinson, and granddaughter Roxanne Brinson.
